Sorry, neither video is of 'my car' - just something I found online.

And yes, I thought it sounded strange too ... obviously some exhaust mod there - and probably more ...

I think it's a Cooper with a heavily modified engine, perhaps a higher redline. Sounds like something is wrong though, all that clunking under deceleration can't be right.

That's just the exhaust system (or lack thereof). My new straight exhaust sounds a bit like this, especially when backing off the throttle. It must have a higher rev limit, and the sound is a little "tinny" for my liking but I doubt there's much behind the header on that car...
