Silver MINIs... I'm just saying
 

I've had my MINI for three months now and one of the really cool things is the waves from fellow MINI owners - except Silver MINIs! In three months the only color MINI that has ignored my wave has been silver! What's up with that? Is silver the rental color? Anyone else notice this?

I think it all depends! I've been ignored by CR and PW as well. And waved at by a few of each.

There aren't a lot of MINIs in my area. I think I've gotten waves from about 50%. IIRC, I got a wave from one silver MINI and didn't from another. The one who didn't wave was a well kept MC driven by a woman who looked to be in her 70's. I don't think she saw me.

I only wave at other Silver ones. F everyone else.....lol! J/K

I notice a lot of mini owners don't wave. (maybe there jealous of mine cause its so modded, they feel inferiour)!:lol:

Flashing will get you noticed but nude driving is frowned upon.:lol:

I never understood why people bought silver cars... I mean really... you paid for paint, why buy paint the color of the metal? :)

I always wave, not only that but I get annoyed when fellow motorists don't wave back.

When i get my DS MCS here in a week or two, i will totally be waving!

Sometimes I even wave in my Suburban! It's BRG as well, and soon I will add Bonnet stripes and a MINI front license frame. I wonder if anyone will get it?

I wave, don't usually get waves...get people staring at Cecilia..I think they are intimidated by her flashy "outfit" (bonnet stripes/flames) But then I realized that when my windows are up no one can really see me wave!:lol: But I do, believe me I do. I even roll my window down and put my hand out the window and wave.:roll:To the SAME MINI every day!!! NO response...:sly:

I have noticed that there are "JAMmers" (Just A MINI owners) and they really can't give a left taillight that you are an enthusiast. But I do get waves more often from, 1)other club members, 2)people who recognize my car, 3)slightly-highly modded MINIs...guess it is the enthusiast thing!
