Thanks, AGRO!

Yes, I'll be driving it. I'm picking up my oldest son in Denver and heading to Vegas early (VERY early, I hope!) on Thursday morning.

Congrats on the purchase!!!

Do you think you will be developing any other quality/awesome/sweet/fun/not so expensive mods for the R53 now that you have your own test mule?

Thanks!

Maybe I'll see some goodies at AMVIV.
Can't spend much, though; the boss will find out and I'll be in big trouble.

Very nice, now your M Roadster will be even a more low mileage car.

Good color and a good year.

I'd love to.
But my "day job" (rather, my DAY & NIGHT job) is killing me.
I own a one-man machining job shop, doing work primarily for one local corporation; they're keeping me so busy, I can hardly breathe.

If there is a chronic problem that can be remedied with a simple machined part, I'm all ears!

I've been making these little Delrin seat rail bushings for Z3's for years.
I mail them all over the world. They fix an annoying slop problem that nearly every Z3 seat suffers from at some point.

They're embarrassingly easy to make, so I sell them cheap.

BMW's answer is to replace the entire rail assembly, at a cost of hundreds of $$$ per seat. And the worst part; the new rails come with the same crummy, soft rubber pieces that caused the problem in the first place.

YEEEHA!!
The car was just unloaded off the truck an hour ago, and I've already been to my favorite coffee shop in it.

Already, I'm beginning to understand about MINI mania!

One thing; it's about 15 degrees here today, and this car has been freezing its butt off in the truck for several days, during the trip from Seattle to Illinois. These dang stainless steel shift ***** get COLD, don't they!

And hot in summer. The temp issue is the main reason I don't have one of your pieces of art on my car.

Doug:

I bought a felt **** cover for just that reason! I gave it to Cris so hopefully it's still with my old Nuff MINI ... er ... I guess it's now YOUR new MINI. It use to be in the center arm rest. Take a look and see if it's still there. Perfect for when the **** is too cold ... or too hot!

Have fun with the car. Take care of her for me!

Thanks!

Yep; the **** cover was in the car, along with some cables and stuff.

Today's "**** du Jour" doesn't suck the heat from my hand near as much as steel does.
