Top 100 Green Cars!! Guess who?

http://autos.yahoo.com/green_center-top100/

Mini is ranked #10 as the greenest car.

If you remove the hybrids, it would be ranked #2 as far as gasoline only running cars!!

Ranked 10th but gets better gas mileage than the #3 car?

I know there are other factors they use to calculate this mysterious green rating, but still. . . .

I don't need green status to make myself feel good. I drive a MINI to do that.

I sure didn't buy the MINI for a green image (although I do like to conserve where possible and it is nice that it's a somewhat efficient car) what does bug me is had I bought a Ford Escape hybrid or Toyota Highlander hybrid I could have collected a tax break for buying a fuel efficient vehicle.

Strip out the Hybrids and NatGas models and MINI is 2nd to the Toyota Yaris. I'm sure glad I have the 2nd best gasoline inhaler. Now if they could just make the MCS run with regular octane instead of premium...

Funny - thats how I 'discovered'' the MINI although my definition of green is in my wallet! My Jeep GC was eating us alive... Although after developing the sickness I think I would agree with nabeshin!

What a blessing to have soooo much fun as well !!
