Audi Goes After the MINI Cooper
Maybe they are working on a way to get cars to run off of distilled bug guts? Scoop them up as you drive along?
Seriously- they look way too angry. I don't want people thinking of me along with so much negative energy. I am all for positive mental imagry when people think of me.

New info - sounds interesting anyway:

I think the grill will have a crossbar, at least, for a plate like they production cars do, this is just a concept at this point after all.
New Skyline also has a big schnoze:

Hmmm- now I do wonder- is this just an trend toward this "look" or is there any physical reason for these monster grills?
My Triumph Bonneville had a thingy called "the AI" (air injection) and everybody that knew anything about the bike pulled it before the bike was ever started, because it makes the bike run so hot that the pipes will literally glow red at night
. This heat would turn the pipes blue- it ruined the chrome massively. This AI was a part of the reduced emmissions requirement.
So, what I am wondering, are they having to put in giant radiators to dissapate heat because of emmissions garbage or is this just another fad?

I think overall its just a look, a different brand identity for Audi in that instance. For the Evo there is perchance a degree (so to speak) of utility to cool a big intercooler or something; but still it appears to be a 'look' decision for their cars too.

Yep...Audi should forget about going after MINI and go find another design team!
