Any motoring suggestions?

I'm driving from Cincinnati to Texarkana, TX for wedding at the beginning of October. On the way down I've got a shorter jaunt from Louisville to Memphis (I'm driving straight through when I go home) and I was wondering if anone had suggestions for some nice backroads that I could take in lieu of the interstate.

I don't mind interstate driving, but if I'm not in a rush, I'd like to check out some fun roads. Thanks!

Nothing from my peeps in KY and TN?

I'm not from KY or TN...but AR has some great roads in the western part! Very scenic and October is a great time because of the weather and the leaves. However, you will be traveling along beside the mountains, so if you have the time, you should veer off towards NW / W AR.

You'll love it! Great time of year, sunroof weather (if you've got one), and lots of twisties. Sorry, I can't suggest a route, but I envy you. I've got to go to FL. From Houston. Ugh.

Go to Google Maps.

Under directions, enter the town you're going from, to the town you're going through. It will give you the most direct route, but you can drag and drop the route over alternate routes. Kind of fun.
