R53 steering wheel lock removal

Anyone do this? Assume they need to be removed for road racing as well as rally?

Wondering how difficult it is - if it's mechanical or electrical, etc.

Here are the instructions I used: Wheel Lock Removal and Anti-Roll Bar

The steering lock must be removed for racing.

Holy cow Alan...thanks!!! Exactly what I was looking for. Need a quick release for my wheel as well if I chop out my seat mounts first. Argh. Live and learn.
