solo 1 roll bar
I sent an email to the scca solo 1 director for the northeast and he promptly replied with this
"Ben,
The only classes that need a full roll cage are GT-1, open (convertible) GT, open Production, Formula and Special. All other classes can use just a roll bar, but a roll cage is highly recommended.
The roll bar specs can be found in the SOLO rule book. If you buy a prefabricated roll bar make sure that the state that it is SCCA approved.
Nelson"
Awesome service if you ask me. The question, where can I find a roll bar that does the least amount of mods to the interior but is still SCCA approved, and it near the Atlanta Georgia area? Bolt in would be best. If I get really serious, I will weld in a whole cage, but it still is a daily driver. I got vacation to kill so driving to pick it up 200 miles or so is an option.
Thanks
