MINIs Go 1-2-3 In DSS (aka DSP) @ Canadian Autoslalom Championships
MINIs captured the top 3 spots in D-Super Stock, including 7th overall, at last weekend's 2008 ASN Canada FIA Canadian Autoslalom Championships (CAC) at Summerside, PEI.

those Mini drivers were quick! PAX'd 7, 16, 22 out of over 100...
I notice the Works is legal in DSS (looks like D Stock on street tires - is that right?). I read the thread title, but DSP is listed as a seperate class in the results - hence my confusion.
I very much hope to get my tookus up to the Slalom at Slemon next year - the NER crew that went up had a very good time, and Ed Savage leans on me every year.
Would my STX legal Works Cooper run in DSS d'ya think? Probably not huh - with the Quaife and coil-overs and such?
Thanks,
Charlie

The Canadian classing system is different than SCCA.
there are 4 levels Stock, Super Stock, Street Prepared and Mod. With different classes within those levels.
All those classes allow race tires.
Superstock kind of falls at the street touring level, but Street Prepared allows more than the SCCA street prepared. Allowances are assigned points, and each level allows a certain number of points. Superstock is 6 points, stock is 2.
