It works very well in my 05 Mini Cooper with Upgraded HK system. It is controlled thru the steering wheel audio controls or from iPod/Iphone. Did not display playlist in my car but am told by my dealership that it does on later model years sound systems. Cannot confirm this.

This does not work with the 02 sound system with no HK correct?

 

I don't know. I assume it will because Crutchfield claims it shouldn't work WITH my HK system but it does.
