Fuel System Leak Diagnosis Module (NVLD)

2014 F56S:
Letter today from Mini stating my warranty is extended (10 yrs or 120k miles) for repair of the Fuel System Leak Diagnosis Module (NVLD.
Letter states: "This is not a re-call."
I am not familiar with that part, but it appears many Mini owners
may be too familiar.
It says nothing about symptoms.
Comments/experience welcome

I got the same letter.

After a bit of googling, I found the following on a bimmer forum:
"My check engine light came on the other day and it's showing code P0456, "evaporative emission system leak detected(very small leak)". I cleared the code, but it came back. Took it to my dealership and they diagnosed the Leak Detection Module has failed and want $552.37 for the diagnosis and replacement of the module and dust filter. "

So I'm assuming this module is prone to failure so BMW/MINI extended our coverage in the event something happens. I'm filing this away and hoping it doesn't really matter.

Does anyone happen to have a copy of this letter indicating the warranty extension for the NVLD issue? Thanks!
