Strange "jerk" when quick-accel from stop...
Good morning.
First off, I'm new to Minis and to this forum, but I'm loving both so far.
I purchased a 2011 Mini Cooper S All4 Countryman in December. It's got almost 70k on it, but is in absolutely pristine condition and simply a blast to drive. I've only noticed one "issue" so far and hoping someone here can help direct me to the cause. When I switch to Sport Mode and "launch" the car from a dead stop (quick accel.), there's about a half-second delay and I feel a jolt from the rear as the car starts forward. It almost feels like a clutch for the rear wheels isn't grabbing right away, but I'm not at all familiar with the All4 system and how that works so that's simply a guess.
I don't have this when accelerating slowly from stop, and haven't noticed it at all so far if the Sport Mode is off.
Any thoughts?
Thanks so much in advance!
