Door Locking

I'm going to assume you're referring to a car with Comfort Acess. Mine does the same. If both (or all four doors on an F55) are not unlocked, one push unlocks the passenger door (or the other three on an F55). Another push locks both (or all). My solution is simple. Hit the unlock button by the inside door handle before I get out of the car. Then, when I close the door and push the Comfort Access button on the exterior door handle, both doors lock on the first push.

I brought this same issue up on my second date appointment. They told me it was programmed that way. It's not a defect. I just hit the unlock before I get out and then one push locks it. You will notice that if you have a passenger, you won't need to hit the unlock button before getting out. If both doors are opened before you lock, it will only take one push.

Mine used to have an annoying delay.
You can solve this by turning off one of the settings in the comfort Access settings screen. I can't remember which one on the top of my head.
I think it was "lock doors after driving" or something. Turn that off and you get instant response locking doors with comfort Access after driving. Made me so much happier.
