The tech session on mods is about what works, and what doesn't work as well. Getting the best bang for your buck.

I have a Valentine One wired to the fuse box with the remote display on the steering column. I have the brake light pulsar installed too. I also have LED strip lights installed in the boot. BlimeyCabrio has a lot of things like this installed as well I would be happy to show you what I've done. I felt the same was as you about electrical stuff but because there are so many smart people here on NAM, it's not as hard as it seems.

I'll put you down for the patches. Thanks!

Is there going to be a list of the mods? I'm a big chicken when it comes to cutting electrical stuff in my mini. I'd like to see the radar detector attached to the upper console, and the rear light pulsar put in also.

I have taken out the back seats and put in a shelf (paid to have the shelf made) if anyone wants to see how that is done, but cutting stuff? Not quite brave enough yet.

What? Little ole me?

V1? Check. Brake pulsar? Check. Boot LEDs? Check. And a few more tricks... though it all pales in comparison to ImagoX ...

And Matt (ImagoX) is one of the smart persons I was referring to. But since he won't be there, people who have benefitted from his wisdom, like you and I, can share the wisdom in his absence.

I'll put up twenty.

Also, don't forget about the quasi-brew swap. Start asking for your fav-o-rite suds to swap around. (Should I start another thread?)

I know that a few pages ago, someone had mentioned having the cigar event together with the swap. Don't remember the concensus though. Since I was told by the reservation lady that I have one of the small cabins - that's supposed to be central - I think it would be a great idea. The only thing I ask is, no smoking inside the cabin. Gotta sleep there, ya know?
I'm not a smoker, but don't mind if y'all are there.

Has anyone got a "itinerary" or some sort of list of things going on?
I get confused easily and would be set with a list.

Many thanks to everyone and looking forward to seeing / meeting / greeting and partying with everyone.

I'm the cigar lover, it's a good misquito repellant, however, that shouldn't be an issue. Like I said, we'd have to have somewhere, a) open air, b) away from everybody else b/c it is an acquired smell! ;-) As it is, I'll burn a few throughout the weekend, as I always do, meeting conditions a and b above, as I always do when around other people, and bring a few extras for the adventurous.

I asked Jason early on about spawning other threads and he thought it would be better to keep it all here. I know he's working on a "program" that lays out the whole event--stay tuned!

P.S. If my dog's chemo doesn't break me, I might be asking you to bring along one of those diverters for MINICHI...your stuff is engineered so well!

Seegars

Glad you mentioned Seegars...I'm not a smoker (Skoal dipper), but I'm all for smoking a few good cigars.

I'd almost forgotten about the biting gnats. Everybody needs to bring insect repellant..those little buggers are always out in force in June ..not sure about Nov., but I'm not gonna take any chances.

Someone has volunteered up their cabin for a central hang-out. I just can't put my finger on who it was, need to read through the threads again. Anyway, the program link will be posted tonight, after a proper approval from BlimeyCabrio.
About spawning other threads, since this not an official M2C2 event, just coming from a member, I wanted to be respectful of not taking up all their forum. So, let's try and keep everything on this post, and remember to subscribe and read back a couple of days to make sure you are up to date. As times comes closer, I will be posting things on there more frequently. Can't wait, it's gonna be awesome!

That still leaves us about $60 short for the minimum order. If we want the patches for the event we have to decide by the end of the month so there will be time to have them produced and shipped.
I'm in for my $20

With those last two commitments for $20 each (thanks!) we're only $20 away, so it looks like we're going to make it. For those who have PayPal, you can send the funds to mini_bee@earthlink.net. If you want to send a check please PM me for my address. Thanks!

Hey, thanks for posting this. Just what I was looking for.

Page 8 shows the back of my GF (in the green shirt). It's her b-day Nov 5th. Gonna party it up while we are there. Y'all are invited. She doesn't know anything about it though. It ought to be good!

Also, for the shirts/hoodies, I'd like to order two of each. 2 Med & 2 Lar. Where do I need to send the $$?

MiniBee - patch money has been sent via PayPal.

There was also a mention of the cook-out. For sake of sanity, refresh my and prob everyone elses mem; is this a bring your own type, or bring what's needed, etc.? Gotta list?

Now that the patch is becoming a reality, I decided to have another proof made. On the shirt the design looks great because it's a small part of the larger shirt design. As a standalone item, however, I thought the patch colors looked too Christmas-like (red, green, white). So I thought it would be good to use Fall colors since that's what we'll be seeing while there. The new design is below. I already showed this to COOPERation and he's fine with the change. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

Cool, MINI_Bee. Nice patch. Can everyone see the program well? Also, I was up at Grassroots Garage, and Dan wanted me to let you if you had orders for him for stuff to take up there, or needed something from him, to let him know very soon!

I think we may have people bring their own meats and fixings, and we will supply the charcoal, plates, and all that. Does that sound cool, or does anyone else have a better idea?
