Red diffuser extensions anyone?

Giving some thought to having the rear diffuser extensions painted red to match the front intake ducts. The car is a 2013 and the extensions stick out about 1" from the face of the rear bumper. Has anyone done this? I am looking for a photo to see what the car would look like BEFORE doing any of the work. Thanks.

Red electrical tape, take 5 paces back, you have a prototype look
I've seen it on a f56, not on a r56

Is this the F56 version?

Either way looks terrible lol

looks like a clown car

Well.........it certainly breaks up the look of the all black bumper cover. The extensions on my R59 are a bit more prominent which means..... more red. In all fairness the R59 has lower extensions which angle under the car and are more duct like in appearance.... without the lighting. It might not look bad!

This is more of what I am talking about as it is done on the 2nd Gen body. Look better?

No, it still looks dumb.

That's the GP2 diffuser painted red.

I got a estimate of $775 over the weekend to re-shoot my rear bumper cover and finish the diffusers in red. The bumper cover was rubbed pretty hard by the lower foam collars of a bike rack when still with the PO. I was figuring a 5 bill, but I guess I'm still living in 2001 since that is the last time I had any body or paint work done. Does this sound about right for this job?

Yes it is....and....my car does indeed have the GP2 diffuser.

I have a 2013 JCW (no pix) with a GP diffuser and I went on top of the lip, measured in 1/8' in and laid a 1/4" red tape around the perimeter. Cost was about $5 with plenty of tape left. Been on car 5 years and everyone likes it.

Isamin,
I just tried to apply some red electrical tape to the top of my diffuser extensions to get an idea of the look, and the tape just would not adhere. What kind of tape did you use? Can you try posting a pic? Thanks.
