MINI JCW Logo Without Circle LED Entry Lighting Racefoxx Door Light Shadow Light
Anyone seen one of these in action?, it can't be that good, I just might to have take the bait though!

Presumably the same shop in China is making all of these; I did spring for a set on Ebay a few months ago.
They were just as advertised, installed in a couple minutes each side, just using my fingers. Visible in daylight even, just a fun thing to have, about $30 IIRC. I've heard that these will "burn out" the image if you leave the doors propped open for extended periods (the very bright LED damages the ink of the image on a little plastic disc). HTH. |
Way is selling these in the states and I find the version he has with the small heatsinks don't have the burning out issue.

I've been searching for those for over a year now. If anyone buys them let us know what they are like.

He has both I linked to them I thought.
They are no brainer as long as you get the style Way sells. you did, but the photo example on the "JCW" listing has the same "mini" logo photo, must be a website error. |

Here' s the Way Motor Works version (projected on my dirty garage floor).
They are high quality lights, much better than some of the EBay junk I've seen. |
Yes I have them on my watch list also I email the German Seller, and he said that 'they should fit' the R53, but I am not 100% sure.
Has anyone installed a set on the R53 (1st Gen)? |
We just got more with the JCW logo.

I got mine today . . .
I would like to thank Way, and let everyone know that I received the item in a VERY timely manner at a price that is 1/2 the eBay sellers price.
Here is some photos, and just to let everyone know - anyone can install these in less than 3 minutes! http://www.c0op3r.com/images/Emma/JC...le_Lamps_1.jpg http://www.c0op3r.com/images/Emma/JC...le_Lamps_2.jpg http://www.c0op3r.com/images/Emma/JC...le_Lamps_3.jpghttp://www.c0op3r.com/images/Emma/JC...le_Lamps_4.jpg http://www.c0op3r.com/images/Emma/JC...le_Lamps_5.jpg |
Had to wait for the eve to get a picture of the light working:

Here's a shot of the WayMotorWorks lights projected on a white piece of cardboard on my garage floor.

That's a nice how to, I'll have to refer people to it when they ask:thumbsup:

So I got mine from Way today. But I'm either really dumb or someone made a mistake. I installed the R on the passenger door and looks great. But when I installed the L on the drivers door, the logo projected upside down. Are these adjustable or can I turn it 180 degrees or did I just get 2 passenger side lights?

Got mine ,really cool! But my drivers side is crooked , not in line with the door, is there a way to turn them? It seems the LEDs are fixed in position
|
Got mine Saturday, put them on Sunday in 5 minutes. Did not get any pictures yet as it was not dark outside yet, but I can't wait to see them in the dark.
