My JCW was possibly stolen!
Hi all,
Wednesday night I went out in Wicker Park (Chicago) and parked my car around 10, came back around 12:30 and I was unable to locate my car. I searched up and down the streets for 4 hours on foot only to come up with el zilcho. I checked the Chicago tow yard with no luck, filed a report yesterday.
If anyone lives in Chicago and happen to see a black JCW with a red roof please contact me as I'm 99% sure it's been taken, but 1% of me is still holding onto the hope that I may just have forgotten where I parked; although, I cannot see how I could just misplace my car and not find it after coming back and searching again in a car. Oh, the car also has the aero package and aftermarket black 5 spoke wheels.

True, but most of your average car thieves know how to disable LoJack pretty fast. Most installers use the same mounting locations when hiding the recivers aswell, so its pretty much fish in a barrel once they have this info.
I bought into LoJack once... Then after all the dealership jobs and talking to the installers, never again will I waste the money.

Occam's Razor:
Of all possible explanations, the simplest is usually correct.
Lost a rental car in Georgetown DC, all the streets looked the same,
was also alcohol buzzed.
Assumed it was towed, cops said it wasn't, hired a Jamaican cab driver, he'll literally drove right to it.
I think you misplaced your Mini and will eventually find it, were you buzzed ?
also assuming the repo man wasn't after it either.
Hoping for the best, let us know.
