When i bought my F60 PHEV new on 3/2018 it was always showing 42km left on battery when fully charged. From 1/2019 I started getting 41 km on the display. From 5/2019 I’m getting 40km.
Real world performance doesn’t seem to change, but is hard to be sure!
What’s your longterm experience on the PHEV’s battery?
Is it battery’s capacity deteriorating or is it the car is adapting on my driving habits?

 

Depends where you live. To get 40km when the indicator says you have 42 is actually really good. Remember all the other things that are drawing on your battery. Accessories battery, power steering, brake booster, ECU, BCU, radio, AC, Fan motors, how you drive, and the biggest range reducer will be i you live in a area where temperatures get really cold. These are mostly the same things that reduce your range on any vehicle.
