Is there a tire jack?

Does the F60 include a tire jack if you don't get the spare option? Previously with the R60 it included a tire jack.

No, it is not included unless you get the spare package/option.

Forgive my ignorance, but since I don't have a spare or jack, I am also considering adding this kit. Is there then a flat, hard cover made that sits over the spare tire kit or is it simply exposed as is and is visible once the tailgate is opened?

There is a cover on mine. My "Flat kit" is one I put together myself, but, I don't use a spare donut. I use an OEM wheel/tire that I put on TOP of the cover, and lash it to one side face-down, so that I can put things in the wheel cavity. Then, I have a plastic milk crate on the other side which wedges the OEM wheel/tire in snugly. I have a JCW, and all the "spare wheel/tire combo's" I've seen will not fit on the front. Plus, with AWD, I don't want an odd-sized wheel/tire anywhere...that would not play nice with the AWD system.

The existing flat floor of the rear compartment fits fine over the Detroit Tuned spare tire kit. You can see the OEM cover propped up over the spare tire in the photo I posted earlier. With the OEM cover in its normal closed position, you'd never know there was a spare tire in the storage space below the OEM cover.

Hmm, I can’t visualize it. Are you saying the bottom floor cover of the empty rear compartment will simply sit on top of the Detroit kit? Would you have a picture of that?

That is it, exactly as described:

Rear compartment, cover closed with spare tire kit underneath. Easy peasy.

Terrific, thanks. I suppose I was getting confused by your plaid liners in the pic, but they are just lining. Now I get it.

These are liners made for the Countryman by Canvasback. Excellent product, well made, snug fit, highly recommended. I describe the package in detail with pics elsewhere in the forum, here:

So I actually think my car is missing the trunk cargo cover. If you look at my pic here, I only have the bottom floor covering.

if I look at this parts diagram, I see there is another flat cover that goes on top of the lower cargo area, shown in green. It appears my car doesn’t have this part.

Haha nice! I think I'll skip the picnic bench for now, but I definitely want the luggage cover.

Saves that back end from scratches also if you loading and hauling stuff.

I retrofitted the floor cover fyi. I only had to remove the brackets and it just sits there without locking into any hooks, but I’m cool with that. I could theoretically get the part that goes in the divider to accept the hooks and cut the carpet, but I don’t think the added expense is necessary.
