Question 2017 Countryman Hybrid Upgraded Charging?

Is it worth upgrading to a 16 amp charger for faster charging?

Depends on the time you have to recharge. I don't use 240v charging at home. Mini comes with a 10a charger which is slower than my other hybrid's charger (Ford) that is 12a. I use the Ford on the Mini when I need to recharge faster, and use the Mini on the Ford when I need that car to recharge slower to cool the battery longer while charging.

Either way you can charge the car to 40% and let it sit there until you need it, then from there to 100% is not so long when its almost time to get on the road.
