Hey everyone I really need some advise. So I got an 18 countryman with about 50k on it and I absolutely love it. It is a base model though so no navigation or ALL4. I will be moving to Colorado here in a couple weeks and I was thinking with the way used cars are selling would it be smart to sell my car and maybe downgrade to a 14 or 15 r60 but have all4 and maybe a sport also with the navigation

Having owned an R60 and now an F60, I would say don't do it. You will be unhappy as the F60 is leaps and bounds better in every way. Reliability and comfort both. I live in Canada and have had FWD cars for a long time and will say that properly equipped with winter tires you give very little away in terms of traction FWD vs AWD. Granted my current F60 is AWD but I'd be surprised if you miss it. As for the navigation: in light of the other things, that is a minor inconvenience. You say you love your F60. Keep it.

I lived in the mountains in Utah a couple of winters, and I agree. Snow tires and FWD is sufficient for anything I ever encountered on roadways. I'd keep the F60 rather than go to an earlier model.
