2018 Countryman ALL4 backup camera

Probably a weird question, but does anyone know how to remove the backup camera on a 2017/2018 Countryman ALL4? I took mine to a shop for some accessories and they removed and reinstalled the backup camera UPSIDE DOWN. I'm concerned that if I take it back to them, they may jack up something else, and wanted to see if I can fix it myself.

Any insight would be appreciated.

It looks a little bit different than the F56's, but there, I had to remove the inner panel on the hatch and the camera was a cube-shaped unit, with a cable that easily detaches. The camera snapped into a holder. If similar, you could access it and turn it 180°, and snap it back in. It was three years ago that I did this, so it's a bit hard to recall exactly, but I do remember the camera cube itself just popping in and out of the holder quite readily.

I was first guy ever to successfully retrofit an OEM camera into an F56 (with the help of Bimmertech). Fun times!

On a side note, I hate that our camera is not centered.

I think I have OCD when it comes to symmetry. I already removed the "CooperS" badge because it was all by itself on the right side.

What would you do with a single exit exhaust?!

This should show you how:

https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...era/1VnZ4pdUBa

From the looks of the instructions, there shouldn't be a way for that to go in upside down with the two screws and the orientation...

From the diagram, it looks like those two screws are for a flange or holder, that the camera itself slides into. Hard to be certain though.

On an unrelated note: Who's tempted to buy the safety triangle, just to occupy the slot in our hatch door? So cheap of BMW to remove them! Hence Findmate, again?

Thanks everyone for the inputs and info. Even the owner of the place was perplexed on how the camera got reinstalled upside down. He's going to fix it tonight, so we'll see if it comes right-side up this time. I'll be prepping my tools just in case though...

The funny thing, that triangle looks like crap, deployed. I just want that slot occupied. It even has little plastic tension "springs" waiting to receive it.
