It was a gamble ordering them, but after receiving them, they fit perfect and I'm happy with the quality.

hey BDI, can you share what's the tire size you are running? and are these the largest you can go on stock height without rubbing? im considering going slightly oversized like 235-55-18 but worried it would rub the inner fender.

Got the CM washed and vacuumed. Ordered front and rear storage nets, picked up our Touch Up paint too. Installed the Snow Tires and test drove to see what the smaller 17” tires would feel like. Definitely not the feel of the stock 18” RFs, but the 17”s are the Factory Snow Tire size, so MINI must be comfortable with it.
Still not sure if we won’t swap them out next year for a 18” package, but we’ll run with them for this Winter and revisit the idea next year.

Looks nice!
I'm curious how those MSW wheels treat you. I had a set on a previous Audi and bent every one of them.
I was told that MSW means Most Soft Wheels (a joke obviously) when I told people of my experience.
I was however running 20 inch wheels with rubber band tires and you've got much more "tire" to protect the rims than I did, but still have heard they are very soft wheels.
That was about 7-8 years ago so perhaps they have gotten better...

Yeah totally. The only issue is that I bet if you swapped any of them you will need to code them out since you'll get a bulb out warning. I have no issue doing that though. Brake light and turn signals should be LED. There's got to be a list of bulb sizes somewhere though vs eyeballing them.

Changed out my wife’s iPhone mount yet again for her new X model. Went again with ProClip on the lighter powered mount, attached to the CravenSpeed bracket that screws to the back of the gauge cluster.
Also added front storage net at the lower right side of the console. My wife really used hers in the R60 and missed it with the F60.
Still waiting on the Rear Net to arrive from 🇩🇪/ Germany

I did something today that many might consider weird, and/or stupid.
I removed the circuit board from our key fob and transplanted it into this, a BMW Xx key fob. I really, really hate MINI's key fob!
Works perfectly, and best of all, I did not destroy the original. I can reverse the process, if I ever need to. Caution: opening up the original fob was not easy, and I had to be super delicate and careful, so as not to break or bend any of the plastic pieces and tabs. The "inner sanctum" of the fob is epoxied together, so needless to say, that was the most risky part. I do not recommend this be tried by most people!
I bought the BMW fob shell on AliExpress for about $21.
