WeatherTech - Need Your Help!

Hey guys.

We got my wife a 17 CMS with Manual Transmission.
I went to look for the digital liner floor mats from WeatherTech and they only had em for the automatic trans cars. I sent them an email asking for ETA on the mats for the Manual and this was the response:

"Good Afternoon,
Thank you for your interest in WeatherTech Products Limited.

Unfortunately, we do not offer Floor Liners for the manual 2017 Mini Countryman. There are no plans for development at this time. Please feel free to fill out the product request form linked below:

http://www.weathertech.com/service/p...-request-form/

If you have any further questions, please feel free to let me know.

Thank you!"

Could you please go to the link and submit a request for the mats for the manual car? The more requests the more chance they will make em. If we get these in soon enough they may even get em made prior to the snow flying this winter.

Thanks!!

Just sent a request! I looked a few weeks ago and saw they didn't have the manual version either, but thought it would show up soon... Apparently, I was wrong! I have no clue what the difference between the auto and manual foot wells are, but it sucks that they decided we didn't need any mats... I'm guessing it's a numbers thing (there probably aren't a ton of manual Countrymans out there), but still, it sucks... :(

I went through this with my MINI F56. Exact same thing. I don't know if WeatherTech ever will produce it, but it's not a problem, because MINI will have WeatherTech produce it for them, and obviously, Mini will ensure that both versions are available. It's a game. Last time, MINI's all-weather mats were out before MINI-branded WeatherTech's were available, but rest assured, they will come!

I'll submit the request all the same, but you'll see!

Thanks!! Those OEM Mini all-season rubber mats are OK in the fall but once the slush and snow is here they don't do half as good a job keeping the slop from overflowing and into the carpeting.

As I think about it, it's very hard to believe that the automatic transmission version and hypothetical manual transmission version could be that different. The floor pan obviously is 99% the same, and the part that goes towards the pedals is just a flat extended part which really doesn't play a role in the business end of the all-weather mats. I would think that in the off chance that there's some interference with the clutch pedal, we could just simply trim around it at that point, but since the brake and clutch come from above, the could not possibly even hit the floor liner. I think the Automatic version would fit just fine.

Would you guys choose black or gray? I have satellite grey seats, and gray stitching on my steering wheel. Black is the easy choice.

Go with the same color as your floor carpeting.

Does the Auto have the same dead pedal?

Has anyone with a 6MT bought the Mini rubber floor mats? They told me they have em in stock but I'm hoping they don't only have them only for Autos and not Manuals. Anyone bought and fit in a manual?

I am currently using the MINI rubber mats. Not the MINI-branded Weathertech mats, which don't seem to be available yet, but just the "other" MINI rubber mats. They fit somewhat, but not perfectly. I'm using them... for the moment.

When I got my 2016 Mini S with JCW exterior and interior, my dealer got my JCW black and red diamond floor mats. Pefect fit with auto and paddle shifters.

Got the mats for the front and back. Not sure if I want to get the cargo mat since I read in another thread you'll need to cut it for the left cargo net. I may just get the MINI brand cargo mat.

Weird how they made the passenger-side so that that [albeit nearly useless] net is covered. On my F56, they made allowances for it.

On the other hand, these seem to fit REALLY well, and with greater care than my F56's.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But to me, that net was already useless to me. I wish there was a compartment underneath the passenger side though.

FWIW...I live near the Weathertech facility in Bolingbrook, Illinois. When I had my first F56, I was informed that they did not make the floor liner for the manual because there was a tendency for the clutch pedal to catch with the floor liner. I still purchased the floor liner for the automatic and used them in my manual F56. It worked fine for me. I never had an issure with the clutch pedal. I believe this is the same reason they are not producing them for the F60.

Is the "net pocket" part of a package? I do not have one (which I'm fine with, just curious though) I also don't have the net storage in the trunk either.

I'm not sure. Do you have a 12V outlet in the trunk area?

I received my front Weathertech mats today, and as we all suspected, ZERO issues with the clutch pedal, as in not even remotely close to causing any sort of interference.

Go ahead and order it, Mr.Funk and other MTers out there.
