F60 F60 Hybrid - Production Number and Build Date Assigned
#28
So my status is weird. On the phone with ask Mini they say it shows starting production 5/18 with projected completion 6/2. What is weird is no updates on the status during the process. He said normally you see progression as it goes through body, paint, assembly, etc. this is the 1st run on US spec HEPV's so maybe that is what's driving it. He suggested I check back Friday to see it it's progressed.

All gas, the MPG is 28. MPGe is 65. In reality, the actual MPG you get will depend greatly on how you drive, where, what speeds, outside temperature, whether you charge it all the time or not...

Went to the local dealership to test drive the 2018 Hybrid CM with a Technology Package. It was delivered to the dealership yesterday and may be the first one in the Washington DC area. Drove in either eMax or Save mode and the acceleration was great. It was quiet in the eMax mode. In the mixed model, the engine was kicked in around 45 mph. The charge cable is big and long and a bag is included to organize it
The charge station will be set up at the dealership and they may just get 3-4 hybrid CM this year. Mine will be in production in two weeks and it is worth waiting

I am quite bummed about not saving any dollars on fuel. Will have to start logging the mileage to see what we actually get. It's 12 miles into town. I average 27 with Lucy day in and day out and jump above 30 on linger drives.
I have my insurance card and am ready to go when it gets here. $69 per month just adding on to all of our other polices. Lucy is down to $41 per month.

The savings is based on the average mpg of 26 and really depends on the driving hehavior. You can check the details:

The map from the navigation system will show the nearby charging stations

First time post. To-be-first-time-owner of a Mini with a deposit in at the local dealer for the next S E All4 chassis.
I cant wait to see photos of Ethyl, as that build is very similar to what I am looking at locking in!
Thanks to to the forum and members for all the useful info and posts.

You may check any nearby dealership to test drive a CM SE if possible and check other non-SE CMs in stock so that you will have ideas to change your order if needed
I think many dealerships got the same or similar SE as a demo like I test drove under $40K to attract potential customers. At least two dealerships in the DC area have the same configuration without sunroof

For me, my daily driving is under 20 miles and I plan recharging every night so I probably won't use the internal combustion engine but once every couple days. I'd imagine my mpg will be extremely high when averaged out, although I will be using a bunch of KW of electricity. The range of roughly 300 miles is in the same ballpark as my FJ Cruiser, and that doesn't bother me much.

If you treat it like a regular Hybrid plus a $4000 tax credit, you may not disappoint about the gas consumption. Also You can park and charge your car temporarily on reseved parking lots with charging stations if parking lots are full
I was surprised that the 1.5-liter Turbo engine ran smoothly while I test drove with 3 passengers. If you can find a BMW Group Corporate Sales Program from the company you work with, you may receive an incentive as much as $1500

Also remember that a tax credit only works if you owe Uncle Sam money on your tax return and you don't get any more tax credit than what you owe.
