What are these tubes?

I just bought a 2017 Cooper S Convertible and there are two tubes on the back. They are 18" apart, center to center. My best guess is they are for a bike rack, but I've been unable to verify that. Does anyone know? Thanks!

and BTW if you go to the MiniFini site you don't find much

Way Motor Works is where you CAN find the many attachments for the system including as you mention a bike rack ....
