2019 MCS 2.0L using DIC for oil checking??

Just purchased a '19 MCS with the 2.0L turbo gas motor. Sooo, how many of you like the idea of a computer checking your oil level??? I'm old, I'm old school, I'm not dumb and I'm not lazy, and I'm not afraid of getting oil on my hands, so I still like checking and verifying my engine oil the old fashioned way, by dipstick. I usually check my oil dependent on how hard I run my vehicle(s) on the Interstate(s) when I'm on a 4-5K trip or climbing mountain passes. Not saying that my vehicles use oil, because I have been very lucky to break them in properly and it has rewarded me with non oil burning motors. Question I have is, can a guy retro-fit a dipstick from an earlier model ('14-'15) 2.0L motor or is a sensor installed in the bung the dipstick would normally be mounted, that produces the algorithm's for the DIC? Do you guys or gals, trust the system as is? Just wondering because I'm retired and like to fix stuff that ain't broken(Ha, Ha). Thanx in advance for any and all replies. Mac:grin:
