Top cleaner and protectant

Hi sky lovers. I’m curious what brand products you are using to clean and protect your c-tops. Has anyone used both Mini and other brands? If so how did they compare, both cost and product quality? My Mini is new and the top repels water well but it does seem to attract dust and road grit. Thanks.

The two best treatments hands down are 303 and RaggTopp. Find either on line.

303 has been my go-to fabric convertible top cleaner and protectant. However, since my car is new and I was having it ceramic coated just after taking delivery, the detailer put Cquartz Fabric on the roof and I must say, I'm quite impressed with its water repellency. Might use it again when I clean the roof in a few months (I try to do it a couple times a year).

Thanks for your suggestions. I tried the big box stores and auto parts retailers and found 303 and Raggtopp cleaner but not protector. I called GoldEagle.com.customer service, who apparently owns 303, but they didn’t call me back. Ended up buying 303 cleaner at Advance Auto Parts and have 303 Fabric Guard on order with Walmart. Looking forward to keeping my top in new condition. Thanks again.

Several members use clothing rollers to use on our tops. Just peel off the last layer of tape and there is a new sticky one to use. Buy yourself 3 or 4 at a Home Goods or Walmart...You’ll be glad you did.

The upholstery brush on the end of a shop vac hose works equally well for getting rid of everyday dust and such.
