Sport stripes on bumper

So I went to a place here in the SFV to inquire about continuing my stripes on the bumper. I already have Sport Stripes on the Bonnet, and Boot.

Well, the guy looks at me directly in the eyes, and says $250, gawd, I felt like I was being @$$ raped.
Maybe a foot of double striping on rear, and same for front, 15 minutes for someone that can do it.
I held my composure, and said thanks, and drove away.

Another company installed Sport Stripes that I bought from ECS for my 2013 MCS for $60. Unfortunately, they only do full wraps these days.

Where in Los Angeles can I find someone that is reasonable??

PITA little job, don't blame the guy. He probably figures it's worth the effort for that money. Matching existing stripes, probably going to hear from people, they don't look the same, they don't align, etc.

Having owned small service businesses in the past I get what he did. Happens to me all the time.

I own a small business too, but I don't hammer someone when I have no work for the week.
Yeah, I spotted his job board, it was empty next week, and he was sitting in his "office" playing video games.

If he was a pro, then he wouldn't be worrying about, they don't look the same, they don't align, etc.

I don't worry about my clients complaining, they can't hear the dialog, the music is fighting etc, I know what Im doing, when Im slow, I give back, and lower my rates.

Have a look on ebay for stripes made to measure, get them cut to the same width as the bonnet stripes then fit them yourself.
There are a lot of stripes these days that have cuts in the back to let the air out which means you can fit them without bubbles/ creases

I did all my stripes and vinyl work myself. Lots of measuring, painters tape, and a few hours. I didn’t extend the stripes onto the front bumper but I did on the rear. I feel like I got it lined up pretty well. I say screw that guy, buy some vinyl and do it yourself

I'd pass on continuing the stripes down the bumpers. I've got 'em on the bonnet/boot and took 'em off the top. Too much stripes is a bad thing.
