F55/F56 Squeaky Clutch Pedal

Squeaky Clutch Pedal
Has anybody had intermittent squeaking occur when depressing the clutch pedal. At first i thought it was something on the sole of my shoe, but a closer look revealed that the pedal was rubbing against something in the foot-well. I stuck my hand around the pedal attachment, and there seems to be a rubber wire close by - but nothing really noticeable/obvious that would cause the squeaking. Was wondering if anybody has a similar issue - before I take it in.

Sound anything like this? https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ky-clutch.html
I still get that every now and then, thought it seems less and less frequent as time passes. It seems to surface mostly when the car is cold, particularly after using reverse. It seems to consistently be gone within 2 miles of driving these days, though, whereas it persisted before the new clutch fork and TOB.

Update after bringing it into the shop: the tech wasn't able to re-produce the sound on an initial drive, but after he "moved some things around" the squeaking started again. He tried lubricating the joints, but squeaking still persisted, with the description: "both clutch buffer and pedal bushings squeaking"
So they've got the following parts on back-order to be replaced under warranty:

Update - Roger (my F56) is at the shop to replace the clutch pedal, etc... He had stay overnight, and I had a brief look at it when it was on the lift, it looks like a fairly complex job.

Nothing yet and it does not follow the design of the older MINIs that have the same problem.
