Almost 9K miles and no rattles
I subscribe to pretty much every relevant car magazine published. Read a long term review of the 2014 MINI and they trashed it on rattles and squeaks.
I've had mine for a year (yesterday was the anniversary) and it is as solid as the day we bought it. No squeaks or rattles on rough roads or hitting RR tacks at speed.
I try and make a point of writing a "no problem" post when I can as many posts are regarding a problem encountered (which is understandable as forums allow folks to ask questions and compare notes).
I do the same on the C7 forum because the new Corvette seems to get plenty of bad press from the "car rags" too.
I couldn't be happier with both cars and especially the MINI as it is our daily driver and sees the worst of it. I'm actually so impressed with it (BMW engineering) that I may, in the future trade the C7 in on a M2 (unless we see a future mid engine Vette)

Never turn your back on the bowtie! They will come for you in the night!
Stick with the (A) Vette. You would forever regret not being able to go back and sample those big cubic inches at will. Sometimes you just need a dose of raw power. As soon as I get to a stopping point on my Mini I'm gonna sink some money in mine and pull her out of storage.
As far as rattles go... I've had a few. Clunking from rear suspension resulted in shocks replacement. Cracking/popping in the front end when going over speed bumps resulted in new control arms and bushings. And a persistent noise from the rear end over certain bumps resulted in a new boot latch assembly. None of these were a big deal since they were all covered under warranty. Now it's as quiet as a church mouse. I've never had a problem with rattles from interior trim like I hear some owners complain about, and mine spends the majority of it's time on back country roads which are not the smoothest in the world. YMMV.

I have had one rattle on my F54 Clubbie, it was on the C pillar, the airbag cover was touching the glass on the window. Tech threw some felt tape under there and rattle gone. 3500 miles. Honestly it was probably there when the car was new, but I just ignored it because I was so happy to have a new car.

No, I bought it new off the lot in December, so I've had it for 6 months. There was nothing wrong with the car, it's a well optioned S, but it had the whole fugly "vivid green" accessory package, and apparently couldn't sell. So I got the car at an $8000 discount and took all that crap off.

No rattles on mine yet. 7000 and going.
The only problems Ive had so far.....................
Hitting a rather large rock on a dirt road and putting a bubble in the Perrelli, and of course not being able to find one. Had to replace it with a Bridgestone....
I think the passenger sun visor is loose. I still need to look into this. Felt it when putting the sun shade up. Found out you don't need the visors to keep the shade in place.

Is that the area right above where the seatbelt is? I have some buzz/squeaks up inside there on the roof too.

A have a few squeaks and creaks from the dashboard, etc., but have decided I'll just have to live with them. It's not too terrible, but certainly not as solid as our 2014 Mazda CX-5.

Maybe I'm jinxing myself, but my pre-owed 04 MCS doesn't have any buzzes or rattles either with almost 80,000 miles. And, it still has the harsher riding runflats. It did have the rear hatch latch rattle that I fixed with a little strip of racer tape around the latch. I'll actually adjust the latch one of these days.
