Could have been one of several posts. I use Stoner Invisible Glass on a regular basis. I use Prestone 3 in 1 fluid in the windshield washer reservoir. And on built up road film on the windshield when Stoner won't cut it, I use 0000, and only 0000 steel wool. I use it in conjunction with a very mild dish soap and water solution for lubrication, but some people prefer to use it dry. If you use a liquid with it, it's a one time use because the steel wool will rust. The stuff is cheap though, and it only takes a little so no big deal. Numerous videos on youtube about steel wool and windshields. Can't stress enough to only use 0000 wool though.

Making a little more progress. New seats and harnesses, new splitter is waiting to have the stanchions installed. As for the decal, I told him that since he was giving me reduced prices on some stuff and others free that I would be glad to wear a little advertising from now though MOTD.
I've had some negative comments about the splitter and I'll agree that it's not as sleek looking as My AC Schnitzer splitter, but it has been tested at 140 MPH and actually adds downforce to the front end rather than just looking cool. Comes down to function vs form, and I chose function. As soon as they finish the mounting brackets for the rear wing we'll be testing the car in the wind tunnel. On their R56 setup they got an additional 373 pounds of downforce at 130 MPH (splitter and wing).

Speaking of splitters. I picked my car up today. I like the looks of the new one with the stanchions better. Now I've got to work on the airbag and seatbelt warning lights.

I think the splitter looks nice, installment sound, but for daily usage a question of time it kisses something.

As you visit a wind tunnel, Iam impressed that you can measure downforce, however what interests me, is the weight of your "Coffee Racer"

Did you ever check that ?

Thanks.
Not yet, but can possibly check when we do the wind tunnel testing.

I'm pretty careful about curbs and such and keep reminding myself that I don't need to pull all the way into a parking space.

Thanks, they are pretty nice. And as my signature line says, it's a "S" not a JCW. Although it has a lot of JCW parts on it, like the tune, exhaust, suspension, and interior Of course the only thing left from the interior is the steering wheel and shift boot.

Just got back from the dragon yesterday. It was a wild one with the bad weather, downed trees, power and water outages. Still had a blast though. Already have my reservations for next year. Didn't get any work done or take many pictures this year. Vendors Alley was a virtual ghost town compared to other years because of the weather and power problems.

A couple of pictures of my copilot Eli, my 10 year old Grandson. He's already looking forward to next year.

First one is at the secret destination of the Pittsburger Run. Great burger and well worth the drive. Second is at the farewell dinner. Cool dragons. They flap their wings too. If I had room I'd have one in my living room.

Roads weren't too bad. For once I was glad I have A/S tires on the car.

Seats are nice Dennis. Forgot to take my wallet out of my pocket for the trip back and by the time I got home it felt like I had been sitting on a brick all afternoon. With the side bolsters on the seat bottom I have to remove my wallet and Glock to be comfortable.

Yes, slicks would have been bad Especially coming off the hill at the end and slamming on the brakes hoping people and local police force are not setting there.

Which NGK you use ?

The next mods I plan is stripping the road-registerd RECAROS to the shell and re-form them into a more elegant shape with a nice race tartan.

Aluminium charge air pipe, with direct induction, improved MITSUB. Turbo

Hey there! Glad to see this thread going 8 pages. Heard some good things Byte Tronik. I’m glad there are more options for the F series now. Can’t wait to see more pics of your car.

Well, it's been a month since I received my ByteTronik tune Kit w/plugs and I still haven't got around to installing it yet. It's on my "to Do" list that I've been waiting on a break in the weather to get to. Have the following parts waiting for installation:

S4S Side Splitters
S4S Billet Shift ****
CravenSpeed Stainless Brake handle
CravenSpeed new style Pro Clip for shifter
Lower Engine Mount W/Powerflex Bushing
Puddle Lights w/Laser Engraved Lens
Milltek Cat-less Down Pipe (on order)

Trying to coordinate with Chris at S4S to get some of this done, and also let him measure my rear seat delete so he can start production on the commercial version.
Now I have to Give Chris at G3 Automotive a call and add the DP to the things I need him to do.

And, since Mini-Vinnie beat me to that set of RennLine pedals I've been looking for a good deal on a set.
