Found one that I'm very excited about... Audi A8 "winter wheels" (winterfelgen in deutsch). 16x7 +42. 5 x 112 pattern. Need to bore out center to 66.6. I believe the only other thing needed will be ball-seat lug bolts, or even adapters... oh and some 3mm spacers will make for a more flush fit.
And the weight... 6.1 kg according to the Fuchs site. That's 13.4 lbs!
BTW, anyone interested in the Mercedes CLK lightweights... best option may be these... didn't sell first time, resisted now... Still at the 80 pound starting price. The guy let me know he can ship to the US for 200 pounds.

Ok- got my A8 Winter Wheels! I found that a guy on the Samba was selling a few new-old-stock sets- these are a good fitment for Vanogans, and some other VW guys adapt them to fit on golfs or whatever.
Had the centers enlarged to 66.6, that cost me $100.
Sadly, I was determined that they must be black, so had to cover up the beautiful brushed aluminum finish that they came with. Looked into painting, DIY rattle-can, and powder coating... came to the conclusion that powder is best, if I can find someone that uses a low cure temp... there are reports and claims that powder coating softens the aluminum. Called around and found LAX Wheel Finishing, that does 300 deg for 30 min- quite low; quite long- perfect. $300 later... got satin black.
No good way to do a OEM-style center cap- hubs are in the way. I found a set that basically fits, but I'd have to double-sided tape them on. Will run without for now, and maybe forever. Included some pics of the caps that came with them, which I don't really care for. But since I got them sitting here... plan on filling the audi logo (removed the metal emblem already), and painting them... thinking gloss black. I don't like the "vintage" look of having them any kind of silver.
Got conical-to-ball-seat adapters from Motorsports Hardware, and slightly longer wheel bolts. Another great option would be their wheel stud kit. I couldn't find 14x1.5 bolts with a ball seat to fit the Audi wheels.
Oh, tires are Firestone Indy 500... 205/50/16. Very few choices in this size, but I liked the reviews and specs on these. And they look killer =)
I think the silver center looks good if you can remove the Audi emblem. It does look a little old school, kinda like "Baby Moons".
I ended up with these 17X7.5 et40 from NM/Neuspeed. Weight is 17 pounds each. Cost ~$1100 a set. As you can see, they easily clear the JCW big brakes and are available in different finishes. Mine are Gunmetal Grey.
Yes the fit is perfect at +42. It's exactly where I had my OEM wheels, with 12mm spacers in front, 15 in rear (running 3mm spacers on these). Super flush... might have a little rubbing, can't tell yet... will find out for sure when coilovers are on and I'm a little lower.
I know, the brushed finish was really beautiful. What could've looked sick would be something like a dark-tinted clear over it. I think that can be done by powder coating... anyway, for me, it's gotta be satin black. Was a shame that I did it to brand new wheels, but hey, that's what I had. That ad is still up on the Samba, if someone else wants to pick up another set and keep them pretty and silver =)
On the Fuchs site, they say they are 13.4 lbs. I weighed each of mine, and I think they came in at that on one of them. I think one was like 13.6, and 2 were right about 14. Guessing these were manually forged and machined, not CNC. According to tire rack, my tires are 21 lbs. So that's like 35 lbs. total. Just weighed my old 17" tentacle spoke wheels with half-worn tires, and they were 40 lbs. So I'm saving at least 5 lbs, but maybe more like 8 if the tires were new? Wishful thinking... was hoping it was a bigger savings! Oh well. The car does feel a little livelier. A little more light on the feet. Or it's just in my head.
Anyone know off the top of their head what the widest wheel (front and rear) I could put on my Justa without having it go past the fender? Would like it flush, just under the fender or slightly past is ok.

I have NM springs. About to install ST coilovers though. Pretty sure I'll be recommending them to everyone, especially if you're coming from standard suspension, not Sport option.
Plate holder is by US Mill Works. This sounds like an overstatement, but it's incredible. So well designed and made. Totally adjustable. Very reasonable price.
