Blazing Red & White Cooper. Picked her up on the 17th April (ordered on the 27th Feb) and loving every minute!! This is MINI no.4 after previously having a Cooper D hatch, One D Countryman and a Cooper SD Clubman.

Interesting thing about the Blazing Red. The first time we spied it, under the almost golden lighting at an auto show, my partner flat out refused it as the order color for us - saying it was too brown!
The next time we saw it was under the car dealership lighting.... then our salesperson drove it outside. That time - it won us over. Wow, chameleon shade - love the photos guys!

I also like how on one page we can compare the Blazing Red on a Cooper and Cooper S. I am yet to get over my distaste for the Cooper S front design.

Blazing Red has a hint of yellow in it and in some light it looks orangey. In other light, it looks like a very nice red, but I wish it were the Mazda red we see in all the Mazda commercials and brochures.

ANY color changes based on the lighting. You have to keep that in mind.

Congrats to all on the additions, they look great! I really like the new Blazing red, I think it is very vibrant and really "pops" in sunlight.

I've noticed that the S side blinkers do not have a black trim cover

A few pictures of the Thunder Grey and Black Cooper S the dealer let me have as a loaner for a few days while my R56 was in for the Timing Chain.

It was literally a new car, they gave it to me with 16 miles on the odometer. I went through the car with a fine tooth comb and concluded that I like the car overall but the front I'm still going to have to warm to. Hopefully they can do something about it in the Life Cycle Refresh but until them I'll keep my R56.
It was nice to have an extended test drive with the car for about 5 days, funny thing was that the day I got it later that night (Thursday) I got a call saying my car would be ready the next afternoon; I told them to keep it until Monday

Of course I couldn't give it back without have taken a few photos of the car. Through the lens the new design really started to grow on me, Interestingly the rear of the car more than anything.

While I have a Chili Red R56 and love it, I must say that the F56 (To which I was very against the new design) looks actually rather good in the darker colors. If I were to get one in the future I think it would have to be Thunder Grey and black, I came to like it a lot by the time I had to give it back; Oh and with close to 400 miles on it :D

That picture definitely makes it look way off. What does the other side look like? Almost seems like it would be rubbing with how much bigger that gap appears to be.

You would think left side would rub, but it's only a little better than the right side -- could be better.
With gaps that big, you have to wonder how they were able to get the other pieces to fit.

Got the windows tinted today, makes a huge difference (I think). The contrast of black on the VO makes the car pop, now with black windows it just completes the entire look. I went with 20% all around

Awesome look. That is my first planned mod as well. 20% attracts too many police 'round here, though.

Sexy!!! I wish I could get away with 20% on the fronts where I'm at as well. The car needs some body colored side sills badly!! Hate that black trim. Cheapens the whole look!!

The car went from "Taxi" to "Bad ***". Very nice!
