Well now that I changed out my grill I decided I want to change out the brake air duct covers to match. Problem is I only find information on the R series minis. Do I have to take the bumper back off or has someone figured out how to change them out without having to remove the grill/bumper assembly. Its not overly difficult to remove but I just dont want to keep messing with removing the fender trim and potentially breaking it.
Thank you in advance for any help or admonishment! lol

I mean if you have a new set the clips on the back should make it obvious how they are secured.

i haven't purchased them yet. I am in the "thinking about it" stage.

i was hoping for someone's experience having already done it. If I do have to take off the front end again I may just pass and leave the air scoops as they are. If I can change them in some other way then off I go to order them. So hopefully someone will come along and let me know. I'm pretty sure I won't take the front off again just to change the color

I went through duct replacement (and bumper removal) on an R56. That was "fun."

On the F56, things appear to be a bit more reachable, but I have a hunch to properly remove and secure the bumper-side part you're going to either have to wrangle with the bumper or get creative (and have a lot of patience).

I was easily able to remove the Brake air ducts from the front using some trim removal tools. I didn't need to remove the bumper and it was really a 10 minute job to replace if you take your time.
