Yes, I know it's a MINI and people will say you don't need PDC - BUT my other car has sensors and I often find myself jumping into the MINI, reversing while expecting the 'beeps', and then realising at the last second that I'm pretty close to an object. I also need to take the rear bumper off to do some other work, so I figured it was the perfect opportunity to retrofit.

Anyway, MINI offer a retrofit kit (66 20 2 287 371) and I've been working through the instructions. Most of it seems okay, but the instructions are a little vague in places.

I was wondering if anyone here has done it on their car, or does anyone know of any DIY instructions online that might help? Thanks!

Thats a European MINI part only. We did not get them here in the states.

Here is one for the R60 on a euro MINI thats close to the same design.

I have PDC beeper on my '15 F-56, I was thinking about retro-fitting a camera some day. I would think that all you need is the camera for hatch door since PDC is already there.
