What all weather floor mat to get?

If anyone has all weather floor mat recommendations please share them. Pictures would be great. I would like a fitted one shaped to the floor.

I am leaning towards the 3D Maxpider.

Weathertech, but since you have a gen 3 MINI would have some cool all weather options if you like the design, otherwise the weathertechs are simple. and effective, linked below also.

Maxpider ones dont last long. Ours are getting all torn up near the gas pedal and they seem to literally absorb dirt since they are like foam.

Probably Weathertech as I'd think you'd want liners...the all weather-but-flat ones are pointless as stuff will just fall off the sides

Weathertech is the way to go, although the MINI all weather seem to be the same design!!!

I have the weather techs in my Mazda and I really didn't like that they were slippery when wet. It also didn't fit well, there were gaps on the sides and it only covered half the foot rest. Dirt still got under the mat.
I was hoping for other options. I would like the mats to be form fitted and be able to hold some dirt and liquid without spilling over.

iwashmycar - were yours the normal Maxpider or the Kagu version?

JCW Pro for the looks. That's why I bought mine. For practicality I should have gone with the Weathertech.

Have Weathertechs in our Countryman. Very slippery...wet or dry. I put the JCW Pro mats in my 2019 JCW and love them. They won’t hold as much liquid as the Weathertechs, but they have enough of a lip to catch as much melted snow as should ever come from your shoes.

I've got the Mini all-weathers. They look good but there's not much of a bucket to catch the snow/slush. The Weathertech digital floorliners are a good option to catch everything, but they not as aesthetically pleasing and the left side will cover part of your kick plate.

Speaking of which, I need a good set of carpet mats, those Mini Essentials ECS has on their site look nice. Anyone have them - how are they in person?

3D Maxpider. I had them for 5 years in my Mini and Prius and love them. They fit great and have the look of carpet.

I took this when they were new. Fit was fine. Had a little bow outward on the passenger side. I still dont recommend them IF you or other driver wears pointy footwear...like heels. Being my wife's car they are being destroyed near the gas pedal area. I'll have to try and get a photo later.

If you have a clutch be careful before buying rubber mats. I found that the heel of my clutch foot often got hung up on the rubber...no I do not have huge feet! I believe it’s the position of the F56 clutch pedal. Never had an issue in any other car. I just keep using the black stock velour mats & it’s fine.

They are nice, just a little lip vs the big lip on the weather tech branded weathertech stuff.

These are the ones I have from Weathertech. They go up the sides and tuck under the brake and clutch.

Exactly! Though I didn’t get the rear seat mats. I first ordered WeatherTech but canceled and went OEM, Great fit, look better and are less expensive. They will stay in year round.

Cheers!

WeatherTech molded liners specific for your car...definitely for the winter because it holds all the crap and water from snow melt. For summer, I use Cocomats...love the classic look they give my MINI.

They look sooo nice when new!. Keep us in the loop on how yours hold up!. I just tossed ours in the garbage and threw in Weathertechs last week. Should last pretty much forever. I have Husky Liners in my truck and they have been there for about 7 years now and in perfectly good shape.
