Pulling Trigger on deal / well about to

Worked a good deal {2019 Base} ( I think, LOL ) with local dealer on what I wanted... getting the Signature series... Just saw that this series has the 16" wheels and Run Flat tires with NO spare... Not real comfortable with NO spare... Has anyone 'skinned this cat' yet with deal???? how did you go about it... Does the Signature series have a place for a spare? really do not like the Run Flat tires... Flats are rare with me but IF I have a car with NO spare????

So asking here...

btw - got the DELETE Moonroof, no issue at all, once I got the sales manager involved..

I roll with a small compressor (VIAIR makes some nice ones) a plug kit, and AAA. Others might recommend a mini spare behind the passenger seat, but I prefer this space-saving option.

Have never driven a Mini w/o run flats. I did pick up a nail a few years ago. Drove home, called dealer, got right in and patch and tire good as new. When wife''s car (Ford C-Max) needed new tires, I got her run-flats (no spare). At first she complained about rougher ride, but now she's used to it and I don't have to worry about her getting stranded and waiting for AAA.

Something I debate w/ myself often. My 2015 came with Hankook RF's. Car rode okay. Decide to save some unsprung weight and bought some wheels and lighter non-RF's to match. Picked up a nail twice in the last 3 years. Both resulted in me having to replace tires, but neither stranded me or required a road side pump-up or use roadside assistance. Having RF's would have resulted in the same outcome. TPMS showed low pressure and inspection showed nails near the outside tread so repair was not feasible.

I always worry about the flat late night deserted road and my bad back (and trying to change a tire myself).

My situation may be different from most. I don't travel much and trips are relatively short. Slow leaks normally show up when I start the car in the garage to go out. I can pump up if really low and make it to a tire place. Catastrophic blow-out on highway is likely to be rare and probably the only reason I would need a spare tire. Roadside assistance is my fall-back on that event.

The only real concern I had was coming home (100 mile trip) after evacuating from hurricane Irma. People were picking up nails from the storm damage and I was really concerned about getting roadside should something happen. Thankfully nothing did.

On my 2007 I wore out the RFs and replaced them with (much cheaper) non-RFs and they did ride softer. Car didn't handle better. I got compressor and goo and a plug kit, Never used it. I had picked up 2-3 nails in the RFs too.
On my 2014 the RFs wore after about 18k miles, I replaced with RFs I actually bought from Mini dealer on special.
