Which phone mount works best?

Hey all,

I've been wondering which kind of vent mount works in the F56? I would go the traditional "stick it on the dash" route but I hate obstructing my vision. Plus sticking it on the vent allows the A/C to keep my phone cool when running my apps. I'm using an iPhone X. Thanks all!

Not a fan of the vent mount. I prefer something like this https://www.cravenspeed.com/smartphone-mount-pro-series-for-mini/

More money, more secure.

I've seen this mount before, it's a little pricey, but it looks secure. Also, how much does it block your vision? It looks to be in the line of sight.

In my current car I have a non flexible plastic mount that is similar to the Cravenspeed and it doesn't block the view at all. The CS is flexible. They also have a generous return policy. I was going to buy the CS but a free plastic one arrived from a generous fellow MINI owner. All the Cravenspeed stuff is well made. Email them about adjustability.

I don't work for them.

Also, I'm going to give the less expensive cravenspeed alternative a try.

I am big fan of the ProClipUSA system. I have owned many of them over the years and they work great. I have mine currently hard wired into the car so it charges whenever it's in the mount

I mount a Garmin GPS on the right of my speedo with my Cravenspeed mount, the top lines up flush with the dash line.
To the left, I have other Cravenspeed bits to mount my iPhone, it can sit a little higher, as its not in the line of sight.

Check out the phone mounts on GoBadges.com. I have one and am completely satisfied. Attaches to the back of the speedometer in about 5 mins.

I just ordered one of these, specifically the wave style. This is after using a vent magnet mount for a month and not being satisfied. Wanted a more complete solution.

I think I was lucky to get this one. I don't think they sell this style anymore.
