Sunshade

Hello everyone. Just got a F56s a few months ago. When I owned my R60s I used a genuine MINI sunshade. It fit well but I was not real happy with the fact that it was cardboard inside of it and it wasn’t very durable. What is everyone using? I looked at weather tech and coverking but just not sure which direction to go. Thanks!

I have Covercraft sunshields in both our F56 & R60....perfect fit in both. I’ve been using Covercraft sunshields for decades and it takes about that long for them to wear out! lol! About $60 and you’re set for a loooong time!

Have you checked out the weathertech Techshade one?

https://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2014-...ior/Sun_Shade/

Its rolls up and has a very reflective material.

I have the Covercraft UVS100 Custom Sunscreen for my F60. It makes a huge difference in keeping surfaces like the steering wheel from burning. I also have the Zippeeshade sunroof shades. Both zippeeshade and covercraft in combination make the interior much more tolerable. Well worth the cost.

+1 We have the zippeeshade link above in that link, i like it and our guy here with his R56 really liked it as the early R56 models had the lighter tinted factory pano roof.

Thank you guys. I looked at the weather tech but don’t know anyone who has used it. Anyone use one before?

I can't find anything on the paperwork I have, but it has a cloth-like backing with nice sewn edging and a reflective front (not super shiny like the cheapo crap out there), and it has insulation in the middle. It folds up and shouldn't be bent as it will damage the insulation. It folds up nicely though for storage behind the front seats, etc. You can get a case for it as well if you like.

You can check it out on www.covercraft.com

I have this one from MiniMania. Looks the same as that Covercraft one, and the OEM one, minus the logo. I like it a lot. Folds up in about 3 seconds. I wedge it next to passenger seat for easy access. I have a different kind of Covercraft in my truck, which is like styrofoam that you roll up. Pretty much a pain to get out and roll up, and then secure with velcro. Wouldn't get that style again!
