F56 Cooper S / JCW spoiler removal

Anyone know if the JCW rear spoiler separates from the baseplate for spraying / wrapping?

Thanks

You need to remove the plastic triangle shaped side pieces between the bottom of the spoiler and the rear window. Underneath, you will find a torx screw on either side. You then pop the hatch, and there are five (if I remember correctly) additional torx screws that hold the spoiler on. I swapped out my regular spoiler for the JCW version, and it took about 10 minutes total. You just need to be careful with the screws that are along the top of the hatch on the inside. They’re recessed pretty deep and it’s easy to drop one (or two).
