Cargo Cover

Another quick question - just picked up a new/used (only 2k miles) 2018 Cooper S 2 door. I'm not realizing there is not cargo cover. Is that not a thing anymore or was it "lost"? I'm not talking about the storage pack with the floor cover, I'm talking about the cover that on my 05 used to sit at the top of the back seats and essentially cover the whole back cargo area.

Unless it's hidden somehow and I just missed it, but it just occurred to me I haven't seen it....

Thanks for the offer. Not sure I need it, I had an 05 for the last 13 years and never used it. Just wondered if it was supposed to come with it.

Is it still the hard version that’s like a shelf or a pull canvas version?

They still come with one.
Its the hard version with a tether on either side.

Yes, should have it. If not it was lost. Did you buy at a dealership? If so, I'd go back and ask for one. Oftentimes, they can order one gratis. It's not going to break them.

As an aside, I pulled mine out of the car and leave it in the garage. Was a PITA loading groceries, etc., Unless you keep the back seat up, I see no compelling need to have one installed. I keep my rears down since it's just me and my wife. Easier for general use. Car is like a "Mini" station wagon.

I tried that for a while but thought road noise was louder as there was more empty space for the sound to bounce around.
