My 2015 F56S

Hello all! I've been on the forums for quite sometime but only used it to read up on the F56. I was generally just using the forum to find answers and to basically lurk around haha!

Here is my 2015 Mini Cooper S Hardtop. Some mods in here are:

NM Power Module
NM High Flow Intake
NM Short Shifter Adapter
Cravenspeed Shift Knob
AWE Tuning Track Edition Exhaust with Diamond Black Tips.

Not installed are:
NM Rse10's Satin Black 18x8 with 45 offset with Toyo Proxes T1 Sport 225/40/18
NM Lowering Springs
And my newly acquired MarioKart Ceramic Coated Catless Downpipe!

Will post more pictures of my car and the parts!

Very Nice.

Tell me more about the NM Rse10's that are 8.0 wide, they only list a 7.5" on the web site. Did you have these custom made?

Great meeting you yesterday and thanks for driving up my way. Post of videos after you get the downpipe installed.
Thanks
Mario

Well what I did is that I went through the Neuspeed website and looked at the parts for MK7 GTI. They have the Rse10's in 18x8 listed but for the GTI. However, the reason why they don't put it on NM is because the center bore is 57.6 while the 7.5's are 66.5. I went to NM to pick up the 18x8's and asked Jerry if reboreing the 18x8's to 66.5 would work. He said it was what he did his F56 as well so I opted to go for it.

I find that the 8's give a more aggressive look rather than tiny 7.5's.

Nice to meet you too! Maybe I can come up for a tune as well. I believe no one has tried your downpipe with the AWE Tuning Track Edition exhaust yet. Oh man, hope that straight pipe setup isn't gonna drone too much!

Very sharp. Congrats on a great looking ride.

Nope not yet. Hoping to install them around the end of January.

I'm shocked it's not on yet, I thought it was going to get installed that night. mQubed Motorsport Manic Tuning Dealer

Yes, I thought so too. However, some personal unfortunate events happened so I will be pushing the installation to the till end of the month. 😩

Wow I love what you've done so far, I recently joined the forums because I'm looking to get some inspiration for my F56S.

Sweet looking ride! Looking forward to hear what you think of the DP. I'll be in the market for one after my warranty runs out. You can't go wrong with those Neuspeed/NM wheels. I opted for the tiny 17X7.5 RSe05 for mine.

camptown 02-03-2017 06:42 PM

Did you get the wheels installed yet?

Waiting for pictures!

camptown 03-29-2017 06:47 PM

well any update on the wheel/tire combo? We need to see some pictures!

jqtran573 03-29-2017 10:22 PM

Yes! I've gotten the wheels/tires, springs, and downpipe in! I'll post pictures in the morning since it'll be kind of hard to see in the dark. Here's an exhaust clip of the MarioKart Catless Downpipe paired with the AWE Tuning Track Exhaust. It's actually way louder than the video. I think it might've blown the mic on my camera or maybe it's just too loud to pick up.

Cool
How about the tire wheel combo? How does it fit etc? I am looking to place an order for the tires within the next week but want to hear from owners before I pull the trigger. Thanks
How loud is the interior with the new downpipe compared to stock? Any issues talking on the phone via bluetooth now?

MarcoPolo 03-30-2017 07:43 PM

did you notice if the downpipe made the exhaust lower a bit...or rather did it make the placement by the front of the car higher, thus making the rear lower? my exhaust tips hang down a few inches more than originally. trying to figure out if it was the downpipe that did that or if it happened because of something else.

jqtran573 03-30-2017 07:52 PM

The wheel/tires setup is perfect. There's no rubbing for me. The downpipe does get a bit droney between 2000-3000 rpm. However, when cruising, it's perfectly fine.

My exhaust tips don't seem to hang lower. Only took about 45 minutes for me install the downpipe. The only problem I encountered was the heat shield. I had to bend it a bit.

mind taking a closeup picture of the current placement of the exhaust?

jqtran573 03-30-2017 07:54 PM

I'm also waiting for wheel bolts to come in since these are belt seat shaped.
