How do I remove the trim to get to brake reservoir?

Is there a trick to remove the trim? Do you just undo the fasteners and unscrew the two nuts?

Edit:
I flushed my brake fluid with ATE type 200.
The trim came off with little effort. Undo the fasteners with a coin or mailbox key. Undo the two nuts. Unclip the flat clip on the left side.

pull from the left corner. The vent hole on the right side comes out from the air duct.

The bmw brake reservoir filter needs to be pried from the gap. Use a thin metal with no sharp edge to pry it off from the reservoir. The filter spins have rounded barbs.

I kept it clean by wrapping it with a mechanics paper towel while I worked on the car.

A lot of bubbles came out.
However, it did not get rid of the soft brake feel.
The brake comes on late. That is the problem with my MINI.
The first 1/2 pedal travel does very little. The second 1/2 of the pedal travel makes the brake work much harder. New pads are in order...

Remember to get a new sensor, they aren't reusable.

Aren't you still under warranty? Take the car in and make the dealer fix it!

I just showed my 15 year old son how to check the brake fluid in the Mini. I showed him the very expensive German tool that is used to open the trim fasteners....it looks just like a quarter!!!
