MINI Cooper F56 B38 Repro (Burguer Motorsports) Dyno Run

Since I couldn't find any Dyno graphic for a B38 engine, I decided to take a look on Youtube and found a Stage 1 BETA piggy back Dyno run from BM.
Not the results I was hopping to find in HP but a great increase numbers in Torque.

Here is the link to see the video:

And the results (red line is the one with STG 1)

Did it make it through the whole dyno run without throwing any error codes?

They had to disconnect the 30 AMP fuse (place 45) to prevent the electronic brake control works.

No error codes, the only thing that is not common performance is the car seems to get out of air in the 4.000 RPM mark when you are in 3rd gear with full throtle, sometimes car is not able to keep going up on reps...

So power is not constant, I will sugest to the owner to contact Burguer Motorsports and see if they know the case and try to fin it.

We've recently dropped the Stage1 in favor of the more robust B38/B48 JB4. With the added CANbus the JB4 brings to the table we've able to do a lot more with the tuning & features. Things like an in dash boost gauge, boost by gear, monitoring of AFR, fuel trims, timing, and knock, and having the tune consider those with built in safety models, etc.

There is a Stage1->JB4 upgrade kit available. Details on n54tech.

3 banger

It just seems that the 3 cyclinder is ripe for modders. I bet the turbo needs to be replaced by a larger one.

A few questions.

1) Can you send in your Beta and have it upgraded to the JB4?

2) Do you still have to splice the wire harness or is it truly a plug and play?
