F55/F56 Coded 2TB Sports Automatic Transmission into F55 Justa
Noted I am the same with you, a F57 S with 205. My question is along the benefits of updating 205 to 2TB; are we saying it shifts faster no matter you are in the regular (D) or sport program (S1, S2, S3...) transmission?
And do we know which ECU needs to be VO code? Thanks a lot.

Its been a minute suave I used e-sys.
You'll need to look up from the BMW boards.
Update - I replaced the vehicle option of 205 with 2TB and coded the EGS ECU. I can confirm that the only change it made as a result is Sport T/M under 3000 went from disable to enable.
On the test drive itself I did not notice the transmission shifted any faster / better under D normal mode. In transmission sport mode (lever to the left) I felt the lower gears are a bit longer with equivalent performance. I did not experience any jolt / shifts abruptly that @Imperial reported above. For now, I will keep the coding and keep an eye if the car throws any code or act abnormally.
