I have seen posts/pics where lumbar supports were inserted into leatherette seats. Could a gel pad be inserted as a seat cushion once the cover is unzipped?
Wundergel has some great gel seat cushions starting at 1/2 inch and I think it would be awsome to have one under the seat cover to better obsorb bumps?

 

I wonder if that would affect the air-bag sensor.

 

Good point, the last thing I want is to set off an air bag! I think I will just put it on top of the seat. I have back issues and love driving around in sport mode!
