Any news on release dates for the suspension or tuning kit for the F56? Dealer here has not heard anything at all. I thought it was supposed to come out October, and even the latest parts catalog at the dealership doesnt list anything. Show the aero kit, but no part number or price, just the carbon fibre hood scoop. Tried my car at VIR raceway for a baseline this past week and now I'm ready for upgrades to make it as fast or faster than my modiefied R56. If it can be at least as fast around that track I'll be happy since I love these new seats in the F56!

Wish there was a translator on that page. Too dumb to learn to speak another language. At least I can translate the price into US dollars and it seems to be $2282.50 at the rate right now. Similar to the older mini kits. Just don't know if it includes anything more than a trick exhaust and tune or more

If you want to make real power just get a burger tune. Also a company that sells a full exhaust that deletes the second cat as well. Vip parts I think?

Not sure about the burger tune with the jumper cables. Price wise yes, just not sure on the patch cable idea. Would prefer a true ECU reflash like I had on my 2010 by RMW with an uprated intercooler if need be and the hand held programer. Hopefully someone will be able to crack the code and let the programmers make a nice stage 1 and 2 tune. Would like to hear the VIP exhaust, I see it's $1100, but without a sound clip, not jumping on it. Didn't care too much for Remus's one either compared to the JCW. But again, it's a new car, things should start to come in by christmas time maybe.

True, it is not there anymore. They must have removed it. Maybe it was a mistake to publish it.
It was 1800 Euro for the Engine tuning kit. Not clear if that included installation.

To my knowledge, Burger has had NO issues/failures with the piggy back tuner. And they've sold a lot of them for both the F56 and R56. Not a lot to NOT like about it. Very reliable. Makes great power. And it's inexpensive. I've yet to see anyone actually document a reason (real reason, not a "maybe" reason) why it is not a good choice if you're looking for a nice power increase at a very reasonable price.

I've been using the Burger tuner on my F56 with no issues. It does exactly what they claim and is easy (5-10 minutes) to install or remove. Highly recommend it if you are looking for some extra power.

ECS,

do you expect any brake upgrades other than JCW in the near future? I'd be interested in a pads/rotors/fluid kit. Does MINI offer "performance" OEM replacement rotors like BMW?

Most likely there will be the JCW Brake tuning kit with the cross drilled and slotted rotors. These rotors will also be available as upgrade for the factory F56 JCW cars like in the past as they have come with solid rotor, these items are very new and most if not all are not even available yet. What you see in europe takes time to finally come here 3-6 month later.

Thanks

Looks like is comes with everything, unlike the prevouis JCW kits which you have to order the springs separate.

As more JCW goodies are released it will be posted here. Thats all the info I have on these.

So do we know how much the JCW drops the car in comparison to the factory non-Sport suspension? (aside from the 20mm of adjustment you can do)

I'm worried about rubbing for those of us with aftermarket wheels and/or spacers.

The JCW suspension for the R56 only lowered the car about 1/2 inch, 10-12mm, not very much at all.

I have KW coils lowered as much as they will go and 18x8 ET45 wheels - so I wouldn't be concerned about a mere 20mm drop

Just an update.

JCW sport steering wheel: No airbag or trim. 32306865134

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/32306865134/

JCW Cover For Sport Wheel 32306864894

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/32_30_6_864_894/

JCW Chrome Tips are out for the tuning kit , but not the Carbon fiber ones yet.

JCW Tuning Kit Exhaust Tip - Chrome 18302355304

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/18302355304/

Don't have measurements for the tip but look to fit the tuning kit exhaust only, based on what I have seen on the prototype.

This is all that available right now, with that suspension kit linked above. Look for the tuning kit soon. Or come back for the updates.

Some of the JCW Pro add on decals and trim have been posted in the F56 sections.

front splitters probably wont fit the stock Cooper S bumper :(

My intention was to order them, but did some part number research and the following the the situation.....

Standard Cooper S bumper splitters - 51117337813 left & 51117337814 right

Standard JCW bumper splitters - 51117360743 left & 51117360744 right

JCW Pro extended splitters - 51192339038 (comes as a pair)

So the Standard JCW and standard Cooper S are different, pointing to a no.

Yea, I don't think it will work the JCW bumper looks to be different a little. But I was thinking JCW pro splitter might fit JCW stock bumper. I would have to see it side by side, as we get more JCW option cars in then we will know.
