I was wondering how many F56 owners are or were 1st or 2nd Gen MINI owners.

Apparently this forum doesn't allow the creation of Polls so we'll have to do this the old fashion way ... via posts.

F56 Owners, please post which F56 model you own and then indicate whether or not you've ever owned a previous generation MINI. If you've owned a previous generation MINI specify the year and model and period of ownership.

Last week, I traded my 2004 Cooper S , for a 2014 Cooper S.

I am VERY pleased with the improvements.

Note that my youngest son and the new MINI have each grown by about the same length.

 

I am a first time MINI owner - 2014 MCS 6MT. Have previously owned a bunch of BMWs.

 

My F56S is my third MCS.

My first was an '03 that I traded in on my '10. That, in turn, was traded on the new one.

By far, my car of almost two months surpasses both previous S's!

My F56 Cooper will be my 5th MINI !

 

First time owner, here. I've always driven VWs before, and was never really impressed with the 1st and 2nd gen MINIs. The F56 won me over with one test drive. I've had my "Justa" for 4 days now and couldn't be happier.

 

Never considered owning a MINI before the F56.

Hey, thanks for showing both pictures -- the silver gas cap on the wrong side helped me know which was which before I noticed the "2014" and the "2004" on my small laptop.

 

Had an 04 justa, an 06 S hardtop, and an 11 Countryman. I seem to keep cars about 3 years. Had my F56 for almost a month now and it's the 1st Mini Ive ordered. I plan on hanging onto him a little longer, he's a keeper.
