First Time Owner

I have a BRG F56S for my first Mini. I've liked them since the Gen1s came out, but always had an SUV or 'sensible commuter' before, and kept my fun vehicles to bikes. Really, it was just time to have a fun car that I like driving around and looking at when I'm not on the Ducati.

Currently own 2015 MCS BRG Auto and this is my third MINI!
My first MINI was a 2007 Electric Blue MCS Automatic that I absolutely loved until the timing belt broke at 30k miles. The entire engine had to be rebuilt (all under warranty), but I soon got rid of it after the belt broke. I bought a Honda and quickly missed the fun in driving a MINI. I have never driven a more FUN ride!
My second MINI was a 2010 MCS White Silver Auto with NAV/Connect. I loved this car and I felt that they had improved the design and everything significantly; however, I had it three years and got tired of the rough ride and all the rattles plus the wheel bearings were going out and MINI refused to replace them.

After my experience with the two 2nd Gen MINIs, I can definitely say MINI has finally stepped up with the quality of their materials and design/performance. This 3rd Gen is BY FAR the best MINI in my opinion!! I am absolutely loving this car!

First time (soon to be) owner here. I've had a crush on them since 2003 when I saw an R53 at a local car lot and was denied a test drive because I was only 20 and had 'that look' in my eye.

Just ordered a 2015 MCS and now starting the longest 8 week waiting period of my life. I'm coming from a 2013 Honda Accord.

Poll: F56 Owners - Previous MINI Owner - Yes or No

Have a Chili Red MCS with JCW exterior and interior on order. This will replace my 2003 Chili Red Justa that I have owned since new. After 175K miles I guess it's time but I will still miss it.

I ordered a 2015 Blazing Red Mini on 4/21/15, which will be my 3rd one. I had a Mellow-Yellow 2008 Mini and currently own a 2012 Chili Red Mini, which I will trade in for the new one.

I had a 2008 Hardtop S. Hate/love relationship there. Now, a 2015 Hardtop S. Nothing but love here now!

I had that same relationship with my '07. Whenever I'm asked "How are the Mini's?" I reply I like them, but hate this one. No longer saying that now its just great vehicle.

First MINI

I've owned a M3 and GTI, both amazing cars and I was very proud of both. I stood in my garage tonight looking at my newest creation and said "this is the coolest car I've ever owned"!!
2014 MCS Blazing Red Metallic
The best part about this car is I found it unused with 145miles on the ODO
I LOVE IT

31 years of Mini ownership starting with a 1959 Austin Seven (Mini) and moving through several classics and a few new MINIs before the F56 S.

Started with a 2009 Clubman S. Traded for a 2010 Clubman JCW. Then I left MINIs for a spell, and am back with a 2015 F56 S.

R56 to F56 - I did that!

I'm back! I had a 2007 MCS in BRG named Kelly. It came to a sad and fiery ending on the 10 freeway in Pomona, CA in 2012. Yesterday I picked up a new F56 S model in Volcanic Orange- Great, fun color and I LOVE the improvements! I'll be changing the mirror caps to black- also thinking about side stickers to break up the color a bit. Maybe black rims? I welcome all ideas and suggestions!

What happened to your 2007 MCS ?? Sad/fiery ending means a F1 style blown engine ??

Pretty much... in the aftermath, the mixture of fluids and oil left my well experienced MINI mechanic scratching his head. He figured something happened while with the previous owner. I was distraught- LOVED that car. Thrilled with my brand new one.

I had a 2005 Xterra that decided to swap coolant and tranny fluid through a cracked weld. I would have had to throw in a new tranny and radiator at enormous cost. Of course 3 months later Nissan warrantied the problem. The car was amazing up until that point, so I can understand that frustration.

Funny that you mention that; my previous boss at work had the exact same thing happen to his Xterra (coolant and trans fluid mixing)

He traded it in for a Ford Fusion.

Gorgeous! One of my favorite colors- Love the black wheels in contrast to the top. Go ahead and get your motor on!
